Our 'LGBTQ+ Emotional Health and Well-being Group' is run for anyone identifying within this group age 18+. This is a space for you to come and talk about anything that might be affecting your day-to-day emotional health. You may feel misunderstood, marginalised, judged or isolated and don't have anyone to talk to about how you feel. Perhaps you are facing difficulties within society and this is affecting your mental health. Run by therapeutic counsellors, who are either within the community themselves or are allies, we offer complete acceptance of everyone within the LGBTQ+ world and offer support towards hearing your issues and difficulties. Sharing and listening to other's experiences could make a difference to how you and they feel and you may find you even make some friends within the group!
The facilitators are qualified counsellors and will ensure that everyone who wants to speak is able to and ensure that the conversation is always moving in such a way that is respectful to each other.
Groups are limited to 15 places and it is OK to book a place, or just drop in! However, please note that if you drop in, we cannot guarantee you a space. To book a place please email gloscc@proton.me
We look forward to meeting you!
