Emotional Health and Well-being Groups

"It's when we start working together that the real healing takes place" - David Hume

Emotional Health and Well-being groups are a great way to explore your feelings with a group of people in a similar situation.  Our  groups are led by qualified counsellors, who act as facilitators to ensure every person is seen, heard and validated.  During each session, we encourage you to bring your experiences to share with the group, as well as listening to other's experiences.

"The well-being group has been just what I needed.  The GCC counsellors are welcoming and invite a safe and comfortable environment - free from judgement.  Meeting with others can be scary, but it has really helped me to not feel alone in my struggles.  I really recommend the group if you don't know

where to find support or traditional talking therapy hasn't worked well for you." - G

"I really recommend this group (LGBTQ+) and am grateful for it's opportunity.  It is great to be able to talk, but also to listen, and to discuss issues with such sympathetic and expert counsellors.  I particularly like the themes and resonances that emerge within the group, and it is both illuminating and empowering to feel less isolated." - Julia

Groups are limited to 15 places and are run on a weekly basis.
