Our 'Chronic Illness Emotional Health and Well-being Group' is run for anyone with a chronic illness age 18+. Run by therapeutic counsellors, who themselves have chronic illnesses, this is a safe, understanding space for you to talk about how it feels to live with a chronic illness and how this may affect your day-to-day emotional health. You may feel isolated, misunderstood and perhaps forgotten by people in your life who may not really understand what it feels like to live with a long-term illness. Perhaps the weight of living with such an illness is affecting your mental health, or leaving you feeling low, frustrated or angry. Within our group, we offer you a non-judgemental space to unpack how you feel to help relieve any difficult feelings you may be carrying and a chance to meet with others who are perhaps experiencing similar circumstances.

The facilitators are qualified counsellors and will ensure that everyone who wants to speak is able to and ensure that the conversation is always moving in such a way that is respectful to each other.

Groups are limited to 15 places and it is OK to book a place, or just drop in! However, please note that if you drop in, we cannot guarantee you a space. To book a place please email gloscc@proton.me

We look forward to meeting you!
